Why You Need to Utilize Your Time Well
The difference one makes in his life may depend partly on genes, partly on what is at his or her disposal and partly the time he or she dedicates to work or even study. Greg Lindberg advises that time tends to be the only independent aspect not influenced by your family genes or even resources availed to you. Assuming you opted to dedicate eight hours of work to a project per day, and you have minimal resources at your disposal, and another person dedicates only one hour to a similar project. Greg Lindberg will advise that even where one has more capital in the initial stages and is not willing to invest more time in a project, there are chances that individuals investing more time will catch up with him or her.
Greg Lindberg will tell you that some students tend to grasp concepts at a higher rate when compared to others. One as a student who takes more time to understand concepts would need to work even harder to match students who take lesser time. However, one would persistently catch up, and where the difference is not as big, he or she can even do more than the gifted students. According to Greg Lindberg, the two students would have to understand versus time curve. But time can make all the difference where the less intelligent opts to dedicate his or her time to studying more. The more, the less intelligent student would take more time to study, the more he or she increases his or her chances of beating the sharper student. However, if only the student with better genes worked as hard, he or she would be far much better than his or her colleague.
Where one is lucky to have more resources, time would turn around things even at a higher rate as Greg Lindberg explains. It is unfortunate that some of these people with more resources at the beginning only tend to compare themselves with people around them and hence do not achieve as much as they should if they spent more time working or reading. Most of such people only put effort to keep them on top as opposed to exploring further to a wider scope. In a situation where one has resources and dedicates his or her time to them, he or she would stand an opportunity of creating a gap other people would have a hard time catching up. Greg Lindberg will tell you that some people tend to get to good schools which when combined with a good opportunity makes them some of the world innovators and business entrepreneurs. You would need to ensure that time makes all the difference especially over time. While one may have worked a few extra hours for extra pay or even read a few extra minutes, it would make all the difference over time.
